Making Musical Magic in SoCal

Over Veterans Day weekend, student musicians from Acalanes, Las Lomas, and Campolindo traveled to Southern California for four days of music and exploration. The Band (woodwinds and brass) and Orchestra (strings) each performed on Disney’s Hollywood Backlot Stage and spent time together at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure, plus an evening at Universal CityWalk and Moulin Rouge! The Musical in Hollywood. The trip wrapped up with a guided UCLA campus tour and lunch on campus before heading home, tired but inspired by the memories and new friendships.
