All-State Honor Ensembles
Being selected for the All-State Ensembles is the highest honor any high school musician in California can receive. Regardless of the results, the “process” of preparing for the all-state band and orchestra auditions will make you a better musician and performer. We encourage all members to audition! Contra Costa County Honor Band
Auditions for the Contra Costa County Honor Band happen in late November/December and consist of:
- All State Honor Ensemble scales
- A short excerpt of your choosing
- Sight-reading
CCC Honor Jazz Band: Audition information usually available late November/early December.
